Lifestyle Changes
Lifestyle programs are offered at the Diabetes & Endocrinology Institute as a resource to people with diabetes to assist them in living with their disease. The following programs are available:

Weight Management Program
The Diabetes & Endocrinology Institute offers a program that assists in altering lifestyle patterns of eating, setting realistic goals for weight control and establishing guidelines that facilitate weight management for better blood glucose control and other related health benefits. A patient may choose to follow a low calorie, or low fat, or low carbohydrate diet. All patients are monitored by licensed dietitians. Click here for more information.

Exercise Program
This is an ongoing exercise program for people with diabetes or people at risk for developing diabetes. Exercises for fitness and diabetes control will be monitored by a Certified Diabetes Educator exercise specialist/trainer, who also sets identified exercise goals. Click here for more information.

Change for Life Program
This seminar addresses relapse prevention, the power of self-talk, reducing stress and many other topics to assist in achieving long term change. This class is taught by a consultant licensed psychotherapist.

Support Groups
