After-Hours Emergency Care
On evenings and weekends, corporations are instructed to send injured employees to the Emergency Departments at either University Community Hospital or University Community Hospital-Carrollwood in Tampa or Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs. The employee is registered as a corporate client and treated for the injury. If follow-up care is necessary, he or she will be referred directly to the Occupational Health Service physician the next business day and given an appointment time. This prevents the patient from getting lost in the system and speeds up the return-to-work path.

In the case of a potentially life-threatenting injury, call 911.
