Weight Loss Surgery Seminars
The Surgical Weight Loss Center offers free, educational seminars for prospective patients. These informational, no obligation seminars are presented by John Dietrick, MD, FACS, General and Bariatric Surgeon, and the staff of the Surgical Weight Loss Center. Patients must attend one of these seminars before scheduling their first appointment. Seminars are held twice a month.

At the educational seminars, patients have an opportunity to meet the surgeon and ask him questions.  They will also learn more about adjustable gastric bands, such as the LAP-Band and Realize Band, and gastic bypass surgery, as well as the expected outcomes for each.  The topics of insurance coverage and finance options will also be discussed.
