Childbirth Preparation
This series of classes is designed to prepare you and your partner for all phases of labor and birth. It is recommended that this course be completed at least four to six weeks before the due date. If you have a special interest in Lamaze, please specify this when you register. This class covers:

• What to expect in the hospital
• How to tell if you are in labor
• Relaxation and breathing exercises
• Labor support techniques
• Medications and anesthetics used during childbirth
• Cesarean childbirth
• Birth films
• Postpartum information
• Infant and child CPR
• Tour of The Women’s Center

We aslo offer a Childbirth "SuperPrep," in which all the information covered in our extended course is condensed into two day-long classes.
