Bartholin Cyst Excision
A Bartholin cyst is a fluid-filled sac in one of the Bartholin glands, which are located on either side of the vagina. The fluid within the cyst can get infected and can cause pain when walking or having intercourse. Your doctor may recommend opening and draining the cyst or removing it entirely. This procedure is usually performed on an outpatient surgery basis, and you will be able to go home within a few hours.
